I have always had a passion for hair and makeup. As a child, I played "Beauty Parlor", and at ten years of age, my grandmother's friend actually let me cut, set, and style her hair. As a teen, all my friends would ask me to do their hair and makeup. In my twenties, I decided to make it my lifelong career. I have been a licensed Cosmetologist (hair stylist and makeup artist) for 31 years and took 6th place in hair styling out of 96 competitors at the Midwest Beauty Show in Chicago.
I was nicknamed the "Updo Queen" in a salon I previously worked in. I have experience in doing hair and makeup for glamor photography as well as television personnel. I love to do before and after makeovers as well as the special occasion styles and makeup. We have been trained by some of the top stylists and makeup artists in the industry including: Nick Arrojo and Ted Gibson from T.V.'s "What Not to Wear", Martin Parsons, Orlando Santiago, Sutan Amrull who is Adam Lambert's makeup artist, The Makeup Institute and artists who have worked with Celin Dion, Lady Gaga, Cher, Angelina Jolie, Anne Hathaway, Brandy, Niki Manaj, Johnny Depp, Adam Lambert, Ru Paul and many others. Some of our work has been on billboards, videos, magazines, ads for Macy's, Bed, Bath and Beyond, movies, T.V, and Rocio was also the stylist/makeup artist for the President of MX.
Other stylists available: Janis, Jaki, Jamia, Rocio, Ginny, Sarah and Haydee. Photo's and bio's to come.
